The world of complex event processing systems has a new player in the shape of BEA Systems. The BEA WebLogic Event Server is differentiated from other stream processing systems on the market – from providers such as Streambase and Aleri – by being the first Java application server optimised to handle large volumes of streaming data, predictable real-time response requirements and CEP, according to the enterprise infrastructure software provider.
