Canadian Exchange Settles IP Dispute with CNQ, Paving Way for Multiple Market System

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and Canadian Trading & Quotation System (CNQ), operator of the Pure Trading marketplace and CNQ stock exchange, have settled their dispute over intellectual property. Both parties say the settlement was designed to assist the Canadian securities industry in its efforts to adapt to the emerging multiple market system.
