The Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) has published a proposed framework for guidelines concerning risk management for those subject to regulation under the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) directives. The principles are based on the requirements specified by respondents to a survey carried out by CESR’s Investment Management Expert Group concerning how UCITS has been implemented in different European jurisdictions.
