Concept Capital, an institutional broker and solutions provider for global investment managers, is expanding its institutional sales and trading team in the Midwest with a substantial increase to the Chicago-based sales desk.
The firm has hired a five member institutional sales team from Jesup & Lamont, a Chicago-based full service brokerage and investment banking firm, to broaden its institutional sales and trading business in equities. The new hires are the latest in a series of senior level appointments Concept Capital has made in the last six months.
Concept Capital has named James Taich, managing director and head of the firm’s Chicago equity sales team. Taich was a senior managing director at Jesup & Lamont and brings years of experience in research sales and many great institutional relationships. Joining Taich on its Midwest sales team are Delores Gress, senior vice president, John Ognar, Brian Moore and Carla Davi, all vice presidents.
