Fitch Launches ‘Clear Thinking’ Research Initiative for EMEA and AsiaPac Corporates

Fitch Ratings has today launched a new web page to help users understand recent enhancements to both the content and format of its credit research on EMEA and AsiaPac region corporates.

The ‘Clear Thinking’ web page focuses on two key developments:

Firstly, new format Credit Update reports, which for the first time include, for every issuer, both the internally-generated forecasts on which Fitch bases its ratings, and a snapshot peer analysis.

Secondly, sector-specific criteria reports, which give an overview of the factors Fitch considers in rating companies, including indicative credit ratio ranges for each rating category.

The new web page can be found at http://clearthinking.fitchratings.co.uk/Index.html

It will be available for three months and allows free access to samples of both the new credit update and sector specific criteria reports, along with documents and video explaining how to interpret their contents.

The page also showcases new dynamic content, such as podcasts, video interviews and e-newsletters designed as an accompaniment to the traditional research report formats. Fitch will rotate and also add content periodically throughout the next three months to spotlight different corporate sectors.
