Description:

Our client is a Tier 1 financial information vendor who are launching a suite of news and analysis products that are asset specific.  They need to build a team of experienced sales professionals, ideally with knowledge and contacts with either the FX or Derivatives sectors.  They have a proven track record in launching successful products and have award-winning technology making this a very exciting opportunity to be part of a new generation of trading and information tools.

They are looking for sales people in their London and Singapore offices.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a good mix of market knowledge (FX or Derivatives)
• Proven “hunter” type sales skills
• Have a good network of industry contacts
• Confident of selling information products on the trading floors of leading banks, brokers and buysides
• Experience of selling enterprise licence deals

Key qualities/abilities:

• At least 5 years or more experience within a financial trading institution or a financial IT technology vendor, ideally within a similar role
• Understanding of the impact and value of information products in support of trading processes
• Strong communication abilities
• Drive, ambitious, self-starter
