SunGard’s Assent Liquidity Solutions and Brass Order Management System will use StreamBase Systems’ Complex Event Processing (CEP) technology to help develop the infrastructure of these solutions. SunGard’s trading business is working with StreamBase to build advanced trading applications using CEP technology to help equities, futures, fixed income and options traders to trade more effectively and efficiently.

StreamBase gives SunGard the ability to accelerate the development of functionality via graphical event-flow language, while increasing capacity and continuing to reduce latency without increasing the hardware footprint. This new development environment will help SunGard achieve faster time-to-market, improve functionality and continue to respond to changing customer and market requirements.
