SWX Europe Appoints ex-HSBC Equities IT Man as COO

SWX Europe, the London-based securities exchange owned by SWX Swiss Exchange, has appointed Mark Ryland, formerly global head of equities IT at HSBC, as chief operating officer to direct its operational activities, starting from 21 April 2008.
