TNS Connects to Singapore Securities Markets »

Transaction Network Services, a financial connectivity provider, has connected to the Singapore Exchange’s (SGX) securities trading platform for the distribution of SGX market data to the global marketplace. A fully managed connection to TNS’s Secure Trading Extranet will enable SGX’s global customers to receive market data both in securities and derivatives markets, and allow connectivity for major financial institutions based outside of Singapore. To date, access to SGX’s market data has been limited to a few major network providers and direct connections from its customers.

GL Trade to Connect to Tokyo Grain Exchange… »

GL Trade has passed the conformance tests of the Tokyo Grain Exchange, going electronic on October 1 2007. Fimat has selected GL Trade to connect to TGE when it goes live. GL Trade has developed a gateway directly connected to the central system of the exchange. The group will offer market data and electronic order routing to all local and international members as well as their clients. “We are very pleased to strengthen our partnership with GL Trade by connecting to Tokyo Grain Exchange via GL Trade gateway. This is an important development for us which fits into our commitment to the Japanese commodities markets we are now members of,” says Julien Le Noble, CEO of Fimat in Japan.

GL Trade has entered an agreement with BT to connect the Radianz Shared Market Infrastructure to three of its major Asian GL Hubs in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. GL Trade has been providing its “FIX ready” Hub in Asia since 2004. This agreement enables BT’s buy side clients to connect to the GL NET community of 750 financial institutions which support trading on 130 electronic markets.
