GL Trade has added market data and direct market access (DMA) to A and B shares of the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges. A shares are available to local or foreign investors with qualified overseas institutional investor (QFII) certification, whereas B shares are available to all other foreign investors.

Morgan Stanley Executes First DMA Trades in India »

Morgan Stanley has executed the first direct market access (DMA) trades in India through its electronic trading platform, Passport Windows. According to the investment bank, the first DMA trade was completed on 11 July, following the receipt of formal approval to deliver DMA to foreign institutional investor registered firms for equities and listed derivatives on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), and for equities on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Nomura Securities to Collect DMA Orders from GL Trade’s GLNET »

Japan’s Nomura Securities has gone live with GL Trade’s front office system to trade JGB futures and options on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on its proprietary desk. Nomura Securities plans to eventually expand the system to handle agency business, collecting DMA orders from GL Trade’s GLNET – its worldwide order routing network – to service its domestic and international clients. Michael Ross, business development director for GL Trade Japan, says “future product deliveries from GL Trade are under consideration”.
