Credit Suisse has been a top ranking player in algorithmic trading since the early days of electronic trading over a decade ago, but it is far from complacent, with recent additions to its portfolio including a large liquidity seeking strategy called Blockfinder, and upgrades to its Crossfinder Plus and pairs strategies. Diverging a little from a pure algo play, it has also released Advanced Order Protection, a means of protecting client orders from damaging liquidity.
