Knight Adds EdgeTrade Algos to RealTick Platform

Agency broker Knight Capital Group is the latest broker to add access to its algorithms and liquidity through the RealTick Execution Management System. RealTick used the emerging FIX Protocol Ltd. Algorithmic Trading Definition Language (ATDL) to integrate Knight’s offerings rapidly, and says the protocol has been part of its mainstream process for integrating broker services since mid-2009.

IPM Selects Charles River IMS to Integrate with Advent Back Office

Stockholm-based IPM Informed Portfolio Management (IPM) has implemented Charles Rivers’ investment management system to replace proprietary software and fulfil its strategy of automating processes and being able to scale up to accommodate increased trade volumes and future growth.

Banca Profilo Selects Orc Software for Market-Making

Banca Profilo, a privately held investment bank based in Milan and listed on Borsa Italia, has selected Orc Software’s trading application to support its move into market-making on the Italian equities market and the equity derivatives market.

Townsend Analytics Adds GSET to Realtick Broker Network

Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading (GSET) has joined the network of broker connections underpinning Townsend Analtyics’ RealTick execution management system. As a result, Townsend Analytics clients will be able to access GSET platforms and algorithms via the RealTick EMS.

Fidessa Reports Robust Revenue, Profit Growth for First Half

Order management specialist Fidessa has reported a 36% rise in revenue for the first half, with operating profit jumping 42% despite what it calls “unpredictable markets.”
