Comparison of RegNMS and MiFID Makes Case for US/EU Market Access »

As MiFID implementation looms, a new research paper is calling on the European Commission to work towards better market access between the EU and US. The paper contends that MiFID and the US’s RegNMS seem similar enough, at least on the surface, to warrant this move, and also that better access to US markets has been on the EU agenda for a long time.
