Multi-core processor development specialist Rapidmind will showcase live demonstrations of a 27x performance improvement of a Binomial option pricing calculator in booth # 1742. The company will also demonstrate the same accelerated option pricing tool running on the AMD Firestream 9170 from ATI in the AMD booth # 2000.

Additionally, Rapidmind’s chief scientist, Dr. Michael McCool, will present at the Grand Ballroom Drive-In at 10am on Wednesday, June 11th covering how specific parallel programming models are key to leveraging the high-performance available from multi-core processors including x86 CPUs and accelerators.
